Egyptian snackmaker Edita Food Industries has seen its net income rise in the first three months of the year more than a 16% YoY as a result of strong sales performance across all its segments.
Revenues:
The company recorded around EGP 3.92 billion in revenues for the period, a 41.3% YoY leap. Half of the figure was accumulated from cake sales, up 33.1% YoY.
Gross profit:
The company’s sales profit reached EGP 1.2 billion in the quarter, representing a 36.6 YoY rise.
EBITDA:
The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation totaled EGP 673.1 million, a 27.6% YoY hike.
Net Profits:
Edita saw its net income surge 16.2% for the period to EGP 436 million
