Orascom Construction announced USD 3.8 billion in new projects, USD 2.4 billion in revenues and USD 119 million in net profits for 9M-23.
The new awards bring the company’s total project backlog to USD 7 billion, up from USD ~6 billion in 2022.
The value of the company’s new contracts from Egypt and the UAE reached 79%, while the USA contributed 21%.
Accounting for Orascom’s 50% share in BESIX brings new awards to USD ~5 billion and total backlog to USD ~10 billion

Dice Sport and Casual Wear’s profits sky-rocketed 616% in 9M-23 YoY, recording profits of EGP 278 million.
Minapharm Pharmaceuticals’s profits decreased 66% YoY in 9M-23 to EGP 156 million.
Egyptian Financial & Industrial’s profits decreased 15.5% YoY in 9M-23 to EGP 515.5 million.
